Whose hardware is it?
Yours. We can spec and source it for you, but it is bought in your name and sits in your building. If we ever part ways, everything stays with you.
What about power cuts and internet outages?
Part of the design: UPS sizing, sensible redundancy, and backups that live offsite. On-prem does not mean unprotected; it means the protections are yours.
Is on-prem not more expensive than cloud?
For steady, predictable workloads it is often cheaper over the hardware's lifetime, especially at today's cloud prices. Cloud wins for spiky, short-lived loads; the point is running each where the numbers say.
Do we need a server room?
