Cabling & AP Surveys

Heatmaps, access-point placement, and structured cabling as a standalone assessment. Know exactly where your coverage dies before you spend on hardware.

When you need this

Sound familiar?

  • There is a corner of the office where WiFi has simply never worked.
  • You are about to buy more access points on a hunch.
  • An office move or refit is coming, and cabling is an afterthought.
  • Two installers gave you two completely different quotes, and neither showed measurements.

Why it matters

Most WiFi complaints aren't a hardware problem. They're a placement problem. Knowing where coverage actually dies stops you buying access points you don't need.

How it works

The service, explained.

See where your coverage actually dies

We walk the site and produce a heatmap showing signal strength room by room, so weak spots stop being a mystery. You get placement recommendations for access points and a structured cabling plan you can hand to any installer.

Buy the right hardware once

Most WiFi complaints come from bad placement, not too few access points. A survey tells you precisely what to install and where, so you spend on the units that fix the problem instead of guessing and buying extras.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is this tied to buying hardware from you?

No. The survey is a standalone deliverable, and the plan is written so any electrician or installer can carry it out. If you want us to do the follow-on work, that is a separate decision.

How long does a survey take on site?

Usually a single visit. We measure during normal business hours, because that is when interference is real, and your team does not have to prepare anything.

Our WiFi is slow. Will this fix it?

It tells you exactly why it is slow, which is the step everyone skips. Most complaints trace back to placement and interference rather than hardware, and the report shows which fix your money should actually go to.

Does the survey cover wired networking too?

Yes. Structured cabling, switch locations, and the runs a refit would need are part of the plan, which matters most when you are renovating or moving anyway.
