Guest WiFi & Captive Portal

Branded splash pages, usage reporting, and support for retail, cafés, coworking and clinics. Guests get clean access; your business systems stay completely walled off.

When you need this

Sound familiar?

  • Guests ask for the WiFi password, and staff hand out the one for the internal network.
  • Your café's WiFi is on the same network as the till.
  • A patient in the waiting room could, in principle, reach the practice software.
  • Marketing wants sign-in data from the guest WiFi, and IT wants nothing to do with it.

Why it matters

Open guest WiFi bridged to your business network is one of the easiest ways in for an attacker. Done right, it becomes a marketing and compliance asset instead of a liability.

How it works

The service, explained.

A guest network that never touches your business systems

Guest traffic runs on its own isolated segment with no route to your servers, files, or point-of-sale. Visitors get clean internet, and anyone who joins your guest WiFi finds a dead end instead of a doorway.

A branded front door that earns its keep

The captive portal carries your logo, your terms, and optional sign-in, so the network doubles as a light marketing and compliance tool. Usage reporting shows how many people connect and for how long, which matters in retail, hospitality, and clinics.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can guests reach anything internal at all?

No. The guest segment has no route to your servers, files, or point of sale. A guest device sees the internet and nothing else, and we test exactly that before handover.

Does this work for a medical practice?

Yes, that is one of the main uses. Patient-facing WiFi is kept provably separate from the systems that carry patient data, which is precisely what a privacy review wants to see.

What shows up on the splash page?

Your branding, your terms with an acceptance step, and optionally a sign-in. What data you collect there is your choice; the portal works fine with none at all.

Can we limit bandwidth for guests?

Yes. Guest traffic can be capped so a waiting room full of video streams never slows down the systems your business runs on.
